Larian Studios released the final major update to smash hit Baldur’s Gate 3on April 15th, effectively marking the end of an era. While players may understandably be disappointed there won’t be any new adventures or substantial content added to BG3 in the future, the new patch is packed with additions that should make even the most burned out players ready to start a new playthrough.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hasn’t been out long, but it’s already made quite the name for itself. The Belle Époque turn-based RPG is one of the best-reviewed games of the year (by both critics and players) and has already flown past 1 million sales–quite the success for an indie studio’s debut project.

Marvel fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming years–and I’m not just talking about Marvel movies like Avengers: Doomsday. There are several high-profile Marvel video games in the pipeline, including Wolverine and Blade (hopefully it doesn’t run into the same issues as the film), and up next is Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. Even though it’s targeting a 2025 release window, we still don’t know too much about it. The information we have and the trailers we’ve seen, however, are enough to make any Marvel fan excited.

Cat lovers have been eating well lately. From Stray to the Cat Quest series, there’s no lack of great games starring cats from recent years, and Little Kitty, Big City is one of the best. Little Kitty, Big City originally released a year ago on PC, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

As a collector of physical media, I always love hearing when indie games get physical releases because a physical release is a way to better preserve the game and to increase its chances of success. Karma: The Dark World is the latest indie to get a physical release, though it’ll be limited, so if you want it, and the extras that come with it, you'll need to jump on it quickly. Karma: The Dark World arrives physically only on PlayStation 5 on June 19, 2025.

Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yotei is geared up to release on October 2, 2025. The follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima will launch exclusively for the PlayStation 5, and just over a year after it was first announced. “[I]t’s important to us to make this a worthy follow-up to Jin’s journey, and we can’t wait for you to experience Atsu’s quest for vengeance later this year,” Sucker Punch’s senior communications manager Andrew Goldfarb wrote in a PlayStation Blog post announcing the release date. Ghost of Yotei won’t be a direct sequel to Tsushima; instead, it’ll introduce a new protagonist in a new region in 1600s Japan.
