There's nothing like shooting up some baddies with friends. The feeling of going shoulder to shoulder with your pals as you mow down swarms of zombies, mutants, aliens, and bugs is unparalleled. Whether you want to play something easy and casual or hardcore and a test of your skills, co-op shooters cater to pretty much all play styles.

Hero shooters have become a mainstay of modern gaming. Everything's a hero shooter now! Call of Duty, Battlefield, even Bungie’s upcoming revival of an old franchise, Marathon, will have a cast of heroes with different abilities and play styles, something fans are not happy about. Needless to say: hero shooters are everywhere.

It’s hard putting together a list of anticipated games with how packed the 2025 release calendar looks. How do you find the time to get excited for anything when everything seems to be releasing this year?

I love my consoles, but one thing I often find myself notliking is bad console ports. PCs are great for gaming in their own right. as are consoles, but the two are not always equal. There are certain games I cannot imagine playing on anything other than consoles. However, some games are just better played on PC, be it for technical reasons or as a result of a terrible console port. These are some of my favorite PC titles that have terrible console versions and ports that I highly recommend you stay away from.
